Self Confidence is Necessary in Women



Women have to perform more number of roles and the expectation from each role needs to be met completely. To perform all these roles perfectly, women need be confident.

It is like a cycle. In a way we may say that women depend a lot on their self confidence in order to lead a satisfactory life.

How It Affects Life of Women

Saying “no” Does not mean you are Imperfect

No one is perfect. Most women have difficulty is saying “no” even though they are exhausted to the core. Since perfection is always associated with womanhood, women usually want to perform their duties towards everyone with perfection.

They feel that by saying “no” they are disappointing or making people feel bad. This makes them feel low about themselves. They think they are not able to perform their duties well and this lowers their self worth.

It is impossible to impress everyone. Women must understand that by saying “no” they are simply acting like a human. Every human has certain physical and mental limit.

In Relationships

As a daughter, a lover, a wife and as a mother; no matter what is the relationship women need to remain confident. Let us elaborate this further.

A confident mother will always be able to make the best decisions for her children even in the most complicated of the situation. A confident daughter can express her desire and convince her parents for the kind of life she wants to live. A confident wife is an optimistic life partner.

There are many moments when a woman is compared to a more successful woman and this is when she may develop doubts about her own abilities. Only self confidence can help them deal with such circumstances.

How to Remain Confident

Take a piece of paper and a pen and find yourself a quite place to sit down. Write down the compliments that you have received. Use a colorful pen to mark those which really made you feel special. Read them often. It is a nice list to go through when it has not really been your day.

Accept your flaws and follow your own heart. Accepting your body and personality, the way that you are, is one of the initial steps of developing and remaining confident. Being short, being overweight, etc, has nothing to do with the strength that you have inside.

Every rose is accompanied with thorns, likewise, if there are some weak points in you there have to be equal number of strong points. Know your assets and remember them always.

Pay attention to yourself. Dress appropriately and carry your essentials always with you. When you look good you will always feel confident. Keep changing your style but always wear cloths which suit your body shape and in which you are comfortable.

Practice saying positive affirmations to yourself every day in the morning and before going to bed. It will work like a daily tonic for confidence. The affirmations can be obtained from the internet, based on the issues that you are dealing with in the life.

Confidence does not come in a day. The trick with confidence is that even if you are not feeling confidence, pretend that you have it. Gradually, it will become inculcated in you.
